I would love nothing more than to write a blog dedicated to skilled and perfect cooking and baking. I would love to tell stories about my adventures in the kitchen and offer tips and tricks to readers. I would love to display beautiful food photos taken with an expensive camera…
…but alas, this blog is none of those things. I don’t have a fancy camera or even spend enough time in the kitchen to take very many pictures or write very many stories. The truth of that matter is while I dabble in the kitchen, I would certainly not call myself a “cook.” I know enough good cooks to know that I am not one. I think of myself more as a food enthusiast. I just know that I really love and am always excited about food!
So here we are. This blog is about food, drink, and anything of the like that strikes me. I’m sure I’ll find my footing slowly but surely so in the mean time, try to follow what is sure to be a fun (but possibly schizophrenic) notebook of all things Sweet and Splendid.

Hi Lauren! Thank you so much for dropping by my site. Those pastries looks really delicious. They remind me of my friend who loves… not cooking but rather eating.

Hi Laruen, I was wondering if you were interested in submitting one of your posts to a new event called Our Growing Edge. The event aims to compile a monthly snapshot as to what bloggers are doing in terms of new challenges with food. This monthly event aims to connect and inspire us to try new things.
A growing edge is the part of us that is still learning and experimenting. It’s the part that you regularly grow and improve, be it from real passion or a conscious effort.
I hope you can make it. More info can be found here: http://bunnyeatsdesign.com/our-growing-edge/
That sounds great! Email me more information? sweetsplendorblog@gmail.com.
Thanks for dropping by muse foods! I dig your excited-about-food, don’t-know-exactly-what-I’m-doing approach
